The cherry on top before Kingston is going home!
Kingston spent a few weeks with us - the trust that Sabine and Franz put back in us was more than worth of it. We were very happy to have our "baby" Kingi back in the house. He has developed into a friendly and uncomplicated dog who did not get the pet name "Wackeldackel" from us for nothing. He is always in a good mood and if he wags, the whole dog wobbles! He has become confident without being pushy and he has re-instated himself in the pack's life within a second. We were especially pleased that he could spend a lot of time with his kids during his stay. It was great to see how over time he became more and more fond of playing with them - he took over the education in a playful way. That's how sovereign males do. I can not thank enough for this opportunity to spend time with Kingston, but we know it was hard for his family to keep the guy away from home for so long. At his last show during his vacation with us, he did his best to get a some more dust collectors home. He was not just representing the scenthounds in the Best In Show, but he was also in the last shortcut of 8 by about 25 hunting breeds for the Best Hunting Dog in Show competition.
Little Milla accompanied Kingston again at this exhibition. Time passes much too fast, because Milla is already in junior class! Our super kisser has also behaved somewhat disciplined, and she has gotten her first candidacy for her first junior title. She was in the shortcut in the Junior BIS as well.
